| Children's Sunday 
Preschool age children are welcome for Sunday School. Those up to 3 years old they remain in their class though worship service. Children age 4 through Kindergarten leave Sunday School and go into worship with their parents.
 We have a children's sermon during our regular morning worship. Children four through kindegarden come to the front of the church for the sermon, then leave the sanctuary for separate children's worship.
  Children 1st through 5th grades attend Sunday School, then full worship service with their parents.
Every Sunday worship service begins with the children carrying the Cross, the Christ Candle, the Bible, and the lectern cloth. They also light the candles and chime the hour. On special occasions, the children also sing and play instruments during worship.
God has a special place for children at Highland Park.
